Dear Clients and Community Partners,
The Hope Center for Wellness cares deeply about our clients, partners and their health. We continue to monitor Coronavirus (COVID-19) and bring our full care to what will best serve our clients, colleagues and partners. We are currently taking proactive, preventative measures to protect against exposure to the virus in our office and continue best practices in regular hygiene procedures.
In addition to the regular and thorough cleaning of all surfaces, in the office and on the premises, we are adding anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitizer to our office, and all the other offices and conference rooms we use. You will also see hand sanitizers in the kitchenette area and at the reception desk. Additionally,“high touch” items like elevator buttons, restroom door handles, and drinking fountains will be cleaned and wiped thoroughly daily. In accord with this approach, OSI Management, our third- floor management company, will clean daily office door handles, microwave controls, coffee and water equipment, etc.
We suggest the following measures as recommended by the CDC:
·Washing hands often and with soap
·Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
·Avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
·Staying home when you are sick
·Covering your cough or sneeze
If you are a client, we also want to take this opportunity to remind you of our TeleMental Health option. We are making therapy over video available in the event a client has cold and flu like symptoms or other symptoms, and would like to still keep their appointments, and vice versa for your therapist. As a reminder if you opt to switch an appointment to TeleMental Health, it will be important that you are in a private and confidential location. If you decide to switch your appointment to a video appointment, please let your provider know as soon as you would like to make that switch, or least 1 hour prior to the session. If you are a partner, we are happy to accommodate future meetings through Zoom.us platform in the event of illness.
Our client cancellation policy remains to cancel or reschedule 24 hours prior to session. We are conscious that symptoms related to illness may show up the day before a session or hours after. We will work towards leniency of cancellation policy in the event of illness.
We will continue to keep you up to date on the latest information. If there anything else that we can do to make you feel more comfortable and safe, please speak to your provider. We are happy to hear your thoughts.
Wishing you safety and health,
